A new trend has emerged with people posting black and white photos with the phrase “challenge accepted”. They could also choose to use the hashtag #ChallengeAccepted, in the caption. Several Nigerian celebrities have joined such as Toyin Abraham, Seyi Edun, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Wumi Toriola, Folorunsho Adeola and Aisha Lawal.

Additionally, you can also tag the women you appreciate.

If you are wondering what the challenge is about, it has been inspired by a need for positivity during these dark period.

Note that the challenge also trended in 2016 when it was called the Black and White Challenge, according to Hit C.

The original purpose was to raise cancer awareness. However, it is used for advocating female empowerment.
